About Me
Origins
I grew up living between the beach life of my single Dad who ran his own furniture business along the Gulf Coast of Mississippi and the farm life in SE Louisiana with my Mom and Step-Dad. I have lived and worked in 7 states and 1 foreign country: MS, LA, TN, KY, CA, MI, TX, and Guyana!
Road to Reinvention
My first career of 10 years was built on a BA in Theology and Masters of Divinity. That spiritual passion transformed into a mid-life career reinvention as a Registered Nurse working at the hospital bedside.
The Write Inspiration
As a small child I could hold an hour long conversation with adults. I've always enjoyed listening carefully and questioning craftily. I want my writing to spark fascinating conversations that lead to transformation in people's health and well-being.
